Description
The SBCM heavy duty range of small diameter clamshell lathes are mounted with full contact collets, this not only allows for secure, self-centring mounting to the tube or pipe, but also prevents distortion of the material being clamped. The SBCM range can be configured to suit clean room applications on request, the tough nickel plating makes the tools very easy to clean and decontaminate of lead inclusion and other foreign material. The ability for the tools to be split in two allows the option of use on inline tube of 1/8” – 3.5” pipework. SBCM tools require very short perch for mounting allowing for versatility where access and available land area is an issue. The vast array of cutting tools for virtually all pipe materials and bevel sever angles, means that the SBCM range of tools are ideal for small bore pipe and tube machining.
