Description
The Tri Tool 224B & 236B singe point machining systems are ideal where complex, accurate results are required such as compound ‘J’ preps in offshore and on-site work applications.
Where portable bevelling equipment more typically produces bevel angles with HSS form tool bits with the angle limited to that of their cutting faces, single point applications permits the production of both basic and complex compound bevel profiles with the same bit. This is because single point machining utilises a generic cutting bit which produces a bevel based on the direction and feed direction of the tool. This versatility also allows for the ability to re-surface flange faces to both single surface and raised faces.
The 224B & 236B single point kits have been developed to provide extended cutting range to the standard 224B & 236B without the requirement to purchase additional tools.
