Description
The Tri Tool PFM816 portable ID mount bevelling system for machining weld preparations and / or counter-boring of 8” thru 16” (219.0mm – 406.4mm) pipework. The powerful machining capability of the PFM816 is unequalled in its class.
The tool is configured with dual hydraulic drive motors which power a set of helical drive gears attached to the main spindle assembly. A 4” mandrel shaft assembly provides maximum stability when mounted to the work piece. A hydraulic auto feed with both rapid and slow feed control allows for unparalleled machining head control. One head assembly covers the whole range of the tool, minimising set up time and the need for changing of tooling or parts.
