Metro Mayor, Steve Rotherham welcomed to Christmas Networking Event

As the current Chair of Halton Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise, our Commercial Director, Valerie Allen MBE, welcomed the Metro Mayor for the Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotherham to the Christmas networking event at The Heath, Runcorn.  Val said ‘It was great to see so many businesses coming together to celebrate Christmas and to welcome charities from the area to engage with them.  As local leaders it is important to understanding training and skills required in the area and to be involved in Halton’s Skill Strategy through the Chamber.  Steve Rotherham spoke about the unique businesses and opportunities we have in the North and his vision for a region that is ambitious, fair, green, connected and together.
