General Welding Supplies (NW) Ltd on Hale Road in Widnes hits a milestone anniversary this year after 40 years in business.

Incorporated in April 1982, GWS has been based in Widnes for the past 40 years employing many local people over this time.

GWS’s professional team have won many awards as supplier of the year and best welding distributor over this time and continue to provide the best available equipment from all major brands to chemical, petrochemical, nuclear, oil and gas, fabrication, and the engineering industry.

GWS are proud to be a member of Halton Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise, with Valerie Allen MBE the Commercial Director at GWS currently appointed the Chair of the Chamber.
