MOSA TS200 Welding/Generator Set
The TS series of welder/generators covers the complete range of welding requirements up to 800 amps DC welding current. All the machines in this series provide abundant single and three phase auxiliary AC current with a frequency of 50 Hertz (or 60 Hz) for operation of any type of electrical equipment such as grinders, drills, lights, etc. They are available with petrol or diesel engines directly coupled to a MOSA brushless, asynchronous alternator. This brushless alternator offers excellent welding characteristics and requires no maintenance. The petrol engines are all air cooled whereas the diesel engines are either air- or water-cooled and are equipped with electric starters.
Electronically controlled welding current is standard for all models which have the suffix «EL.» This not only makes it easier to weld and assures better welds but also permits the use of the 50Hz auxiliary power while welding. All electronically controlled models can be equipped with a remote umbilical welding control.
All of the TS models are mounted in protective, open frames with a lifting point. All models can be supplied with wheels and handles to facilitate transportation.
The TS 200 BS/EL-RW welder can be used for all kinds of electrodes including cellulose electrodes and all the models in the range are silenced in compliance with the CEE regulations.
Following trials and customer feedback the Mosa TS200 BS/EL-RW version has been modified to incorporate the requirements of both the client – Carillion Rail and the issuing authority guidelines.
