Note: The Edge 46 High Speed plate bevelling
machine is the latest technology in portable plate edge
bevelling. The Edge 46 is the most powerful portable
plate edge beveller in the world market place, capable
of bevelling plate thicknesses of up to 60mm with a
maximum bevel width of an incredible 46mm - on any
angle and any material!
Smooth weld ready bevels are achieved with minimum
effort in the quickest possible times. There is no need
to re-grind the bevel and no dust or fumes from the
flame cutting. Also, due to the high speed bevel there
is no thermal distortion, saving time and money.
The Edge 46 has a unique design; special benefits and
features include the variable angle bevel head from
15º to 60º this high speed, tipped insert, bevel head is
powered by two 2.2KW 3 phase motors. The Edge 46
self feeding system is also powered and driven by an
additional 2 motors which drive the automatic feeding
system from the underside of the plate, this is ideal for
large sheets of plate.
The Edge 46 is portable, it is easily manoeuvred on
its 4 castor wheels, therefore eliminating the use of a
crane or lifting device and for ease of set-up the Edge
46 is adjustable in height. All materials of plate can
be machined, including Carbon steel, Stainless steel,
Super Duplex and Aluminium.
